We are proud to be one of very few hotels in Ireland to receive the BREEAM certificate. This is used to assess nine environmental categories: energy, water, transport, management, waste, pollution, health & well-being, land use & ecology and materials. We recently were awarded the Green Hospitality Award, this award recognizes businesses that demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Dedicated Compliance and Sustainability Manager
The Grafton Hotel has a compliance and sustainability manager in our pursuit of becoming one of the most sustainable hotels in Ireland. Reyhan is the driving force in helping The Grafton Hotel reduce our carbon footprint and also educating our staff on proactive approaches to recycling and everyday sustainability.

- The LUAS stop is minutes from the hotel entrance to take staff and guests directly to key visitor attractions in Dublin. This also links with other transport hubs.

Our rooftop oasis
We are committed to promoting biodiversity and reducing our carbon footprint by supporting local food systems through pollination.
Bees are crucial pollinators that play a vital role in maintaining biodiversity and supporting food production. By hosting beehives on our rooftop, The Grafton Hotel can contribute to the conservation of bee populations and help ensure the pollination of nearby plants and crops.
