The Museum was established in 1990, the finest 17th century building in Ireland. The museum has a wide variety of exhibitions which feature work from artists nationally and internationally.
The Irish Museum of Modern Art hosts a number of events and exhibitions throughout the year so there is always something new to see when you visit. The museum is located on magnificent grounds and is well worth a stroll where you can enjoy the meadows and formal gardens.
IMMA is open to the general public 6 days a week. The museum is closed on Mondays, except Bank Holidays. Last Admission to any individual exhibition gallery is 5.15pm
Admission to the museum is free of charge but some individual exhibitions may carry an entrance fee. You can book your tickets in advance here.
