The 2026 Dublin Marathon route takes runners through some of Dublin’s most iconic neighborhoods. After a downhill start from Leeson Street, the course moves past St Stephen’s Green, through the Liberties, and towards Christchurch Cathedral before crossing the River Liffey. Runners then enter Phoenix Park, pass Dublin Zoo, and continue through Castleknock, Chapelizod, Inchicore, Crumlin, Terenure, and Milltown.
The final stretch includes the famous “Irish Heartbreak Hill” near Clonskeagh before the route heads toward Merrion Road and finishes at Mount Street Upper.
